Oh hello!

Hello Again,

Remember how I used to blog? Yeah that was good times and I almost managed to make it a whole entire year without one blog post!!! When I got a job teaching I went private because I thought it was required. So since I went private I didn't think it was worth it to post. BUUUUT I don't think it needs to be private so I AM BACK! Probably the only one that reads this is me.

UPDATE: I teach 60 Kindergartners. (Don't worry, not all at once). They are my kids. I love them AND they drive me crazy. Here are some funny things that they have said. Please enjoy:


"I watched the movie "Elf" on Sunday" -me

After much thought one of my students said:
"Miss Morris......elf is not a church movie"


I was drawing a flashlight on the board when one of my students said

"wooooaaaahhh.....hers draws a good flashlight"


Last week I left notes in my classroom from a "leprechaun" for St. Patrick's day. It was hilarious because anytime anything in the class was out of place my students would say "the leperchaun did it!" "that leprechaun is so tricky!" One of my students told me that there were some dice under the bookshelf. I asked him if he could get them out for me. Later I walked by while he was laying on the ground reaching his arm as far as he could. While grimacing he says "man....that leprechaun is gooood!"


During writing I had a girl who was writing a story that said "I fell when I was walking to school". She told me what her story was and I helped her with the first part. I left then came back a few minutes later. When I came back her story said "I fell when a shark bit me". I said "I thought your story was you fell when you were walking to school" to which she responded "It was, but then I accidentally wrote an 's' " What a simple solution!


"Miss Morris my grandma is here to pick me up!!!" -student
"Oh how fun! Is it your mom's mom, or your dad's mom?"-me
"hahaha No Miss Morris...it's my grandma!!" -student

Student shoots a wadded up piece of paper into the trash. "Wow, nice shot. You made a bank shot" -me "Bank shot?" -student "Yeah bank shot, when you shoot it off the wall."-me " OHHH YEAH! Bank shot is my favorite word!" -student
